The incident occurred on Friday, May 10 in Seaford, according to Nassau County Police.
Just after 9:30 p.m. that day, a Black 2020 Kia SUV was reported spotted driving in the wrong direction on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway.
When police arrived, they pulled over the car, driven by 55-year-old Kelly McKechnie-Goulding, near the southbound Exit 2, for multiple traffic violations.
McKechnie-Goulding, who is from Coram, appeared to be drunk and was arrested after she allegedly failed to pass a sobriety test.
She was charged with three counts of driving while intoxicated and multiple vehicle and traffic infractions.
McKechnie-Goulding pleaded not guilty at Hempstead’s First District Court and is next due to appear in court on Wednesday, May 29.
